Summary:
Sterling Specialty Chemical's Sand Springs plant manufactures various types of oilfield chemicals such as biocides, cleaners, corrosion inhibitors, de-foaming agents, drilling chemicals, emulsion breakers, forming agents, paraffin removers, paraffin control additives, scale inhibitors, oil well stimulation chemicals, surfactants, water clarifiers, and drag reducers.
The production is comprised of mostly batch reactions with some continuous and semi-continuous operations.
The facility operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with about 125 employees.
This position will work closely with the external customers, production, and scheduling.
General
Summary:
Involved in the daily hustle and bustle of Shipping and Receiving tasks in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment.
Assists with non-clerk responsibilities as they arise within the SR team.
Handles and prepares legal DOT shipping documents where accuracy is a must.
Must be team oriented and learn all aspects of clerk responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Print orders off critical list each morning for puller (update spreadsheet accordingly) Look up locations for order puller for products needing pulled in.
Inventory moves from Material Handler move sheets.
Print Labels for team to work tallies.
Tally Desk Responsibilities Scan and email signed BOL's from previous day to Baker Customer Service Processing and PGI'ing BOL's Print off shipping paperwork and mark up BOL's! Update spreadsheet (Baker MPS and Our Outbound) with ship dates File PGI paperwork systematically Assist in proper SAP inventory moves.
Participation in the inventory cycle counts as required.

Be flexible with changing production schedules and moving targets.
Operate in an environment that is appropriate to a small company - doing as much as possible in-house and finding inventive ways to implement projects.
Be able to perform tasks with a sense of urgency while maintaining high accuracy rating Must be able to operate within an ERP system such as SAP and MPS (Baker program) Job Type:
