You will collaborate closely with our dental team to ensure the highest quality of patient care and promote overall dental health.
Work hours:
Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm, Off on Fridays!! Competitive pay based on experience! BONUSES! PTO and Paid holidays Medical Insurance Vision Insurance CE assistance Competitive compensation with additional incentive opportunities Responsibilities o Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases o Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history o Document patient visits and keep health records current o Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily o Complete x-rays of the patient's teeth so the dentist can quickly identify any tooth decay or other oral health issues o Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified Qualifications o Associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued o 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist o Excellent communication and customer service skills o In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations o State certification/licensure as required to work as a Dental Hygienist, active CPR, and compliance with any other licensing or credentialing requirements Recommended Skills Cpr Communication Credentialing Customer Service Health Care Health Insurance Portability And Accountability Act (Hipaa) Compliance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
