Center offers a unique opportunity for a Principal to serve as the instructional leader of qualified staff who serve infants through age 4. Other duties include ensuring the facilitation, implementation and integration of all service areas including education, nutrition, health, family support and parent involvement.
Essential Job Functions:

Plans, organizes, and directs implementation of all center activities.
Establishes and maintains an effective learning climate in the center.
Prepares and submits the budgetary requests, and monitors expenditures of funds.
Supervises the maintenance and daily use of the center facilities.
Prepares or supervises the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork required.
Maintains active relationships with students and parents.
Act as a liaison between SPSS and CAP.
Act as liaison between family support, mental health, disabilities, health, nutrition, compliance, staff and parents.
Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards (HSPS), SSPS and CAP policy & procedures,
oklahoma
State Licensing Standards (OSLS) and NAEYC Accreditation standards.
Ensure the facilitation, implementation and integration of all service areas including Disabilities, Nutrition, Mental Health, Education, Family Support, Health and Parent Involvement.
Leads in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
Assists in the development, revision, and evaluation of the curriculum.
Supervises the guidance program to enhance individual student education and development.
Assumes responsibility for his or her own professional growth and development through membership and participation in the affairs of professional organizations; attendance at regional, state, and national meetings.
Supervises all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel.
Assists in the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, assigning, and evaluation of the staff.
Orients newly assigned staff members and assists in their development, as appropriate.
Evaluates and counsels all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
Conducts meetings of the staff as necessary for the proper functioning of the schoo1.
Assists in the in-service orientation and training of teachers, with special responsibility for staff administrative procedures and instructions.
Attend pre-service, in-service, and other workshops that may include over-night and out-of-area travel as requested or required. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Works under the direct supervision of the Sand Springs Public Schools Assistant Superintendent and CAP Educational Leadership Director. Mentors and supervises SSPS and CAP staff.
A strong knowledge base in Early Childhood Education. Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, write, interpret and present information efficiently and effectively. Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines. Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure. Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.
Masters Degree
3 years administrative experience
5 years of successful teaching experience
Early Childhood experience
Oklahoma School Administration Credential
Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood

Must comply with SSPS and CAP background screening policies including drug test, physical, criminal background, etc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
